The history of Global Renewables.

April 2000

Global Renewables was established after a 2 year period of intensive research and development effort to identify and develop the UR-3R Process.

December 2000

GRD Limited established an alliance with Hastings Funds Management Limited.

August 2003

Global Renewables achieved financial close of the (175,000 t/a) Eastern Creek UR-3R™ Facility.

September 2004

The Eastern Creek UR-3R™ Facility achieved construction completion and commenced initial commissioning.

Global Renewables was announced as the "preferred bidder' by the Western Regional Waste Management Group to build, own and operate up to a 225,000 t/a UR-3R Facility for a 20 year term.

March 2005

Global Renewables is short listed as one of two parties bidding to build, own and operate a network of 7 waste processing facilities in the the Lancashire region of the United Kingdom to treat up to 900,000 t/a of municipal household waste over 25 years.

September 2005

Global Renewables was selected as the preferred bidder to design, build, own and operate the Lancashire Waste Partnership (PFI) Project.

December 2005

GRD Limited acquires 100% of Global Renewables.
